We have you covered. The MacNeil grandchildren came in before Christmas for a special portrait to give to their grandmother. I would have loved to see her face when she saw this photo!

Jason LeFrense is a cinamatographer based in Cape Breton, and I'm not afraid to say that he is by far the best, and not only in Cape Breton or Nova Scotia. Jason is making waves all over and it shows in his work, product and his work ethic. Jason thinks very similar to my beliefs when it comes to weddings, he wants to produce an amazing product for his clients and he does every single time. He puts everything he has into your day.

Ask yourself this question when it comes to your wedding, do you want a video, or do you want a story telling experience, something that will blow your mind and make you feel like you are in a Hollywood movie? If the latter, Jason is your guy. His work is light years above and beyond the days of a video. It also shows by the demand for his service...if you can book him, you lucked out, and are ahead of the game! Jason has an unmatched wealth of knowledge in the video production industry.

Wedding videography/cinamatography is making a huge come back, if anything, it is stronger today than ever before. Photographers and cinamatographers are working together now to create unreal products from weddings. Gone are the days when photographers and videographers kept their distance during weddings, at least in our mind. If this is still the case for some...then sorry about your luck, you are missing out. Jason and I LOVE when we work together. We both take the job so serious and have so many ideas, when we combine them, you end up with something very special. We want to help each other out, in the end we are both working for the same client....not against each other.

About every second day I get asked if Jason and I work together. The answer is yes, but only because a few lucky clients end up booking us together. We don't operate a business together, but we work very well together, because we are best friends.  Jason and I have a laugh at weddings, and most of the comments we get from past brides is that we made the day funny and relaxing. Jay and I are always joking around and making fun of each other, it really makes the day that much more relaxing! I should say that is why I don't have any real serious photos of him...

So stay tuned for more work from Jason, it only keeps getting better and better and mark my words, you will see his name in many more places in the future. Also, keep and eye on my blog as well, Jason and I are working on some really cool stuff that will really be cool. We are excited to drop it on you!

Check out some of his most recent work on his blog.

To contact Jason, visit his site. Or give him a call 902-577-1527.

I was married 6 years ago, I wish everytime I watch one of his videos that he was around then! He often makes fun because I cry at every video...they keep getting more and more beautiful! What can I say....I'm a girl and can't help it! Wishing all the best in the future and looking forward to working with you again!

I want to get remarried so I finally get the most wicked wedding video ever. You both are truely gifted and Cape Breton is so very lucky to have such talented, great, hardworking guys! I cry at most of the videos JASON creates. The first one I seen (that my cousin stood for) moved me the most. I think I watched it 20 times as it was like nothing else I have ever seen. They keep moving me and touching my heart and I am so very jealous that I do not have something so special (I got married 11 yrs ago)....Thanks for doing such Beautiful work!

While grabbing some photos for my favorite shots of 2009 post, I came along a group of shots from Angus and Laura's wedding. They were from their final dance and there was some awesome lights and smoke on the go, thanks to Tommy Capstick of TC Audio Productions and the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre.

Tommy has this awesome smoke/fog machine that when used, leaves the smoke on the ground, it doesn't fill the whole room from floor to ceiling, its like a low lying fog, it is AWESOME!

Tommy is a fantastic DJ, one of the best out there. I have known Tommy for a long time and he is constantly trying to improve his services, he gets the crowds dancing and knows how to make it work! I would personally recommend Tommy any day of the week. I know when I need a DJ, he will be the first I call!

Here is a shot from the series, the coolest smoke machine out there. The thing is, because Tommy puts money and effort behind his business to make himself stand out, he makes the couples photos and video stand out....it helps everyone. Thanks Tommy!

Contact Tommy here. Or give him a call 902-736-0425.

Brody was back again for another awesome session. I have shot this little dude quite a few times, and I love it! I love getting to watch these children grow and grow. I shot him as a new born, and now he is all over the place, running around the studio! I wonder how I will feel if I end up shooting his wedding someday.

Mark my words, if I end up shooting his wedding...it will be time to retire! haha

It is awesome to have the pleasure of seeing kids grow like this, I'm very fortunate.

Thanks Mairi, Bobby and Brody! Here are two quick shots that I liked!

They are also best friends! We had an awesome shoot with these girls! They came in with their McDonalds and took over the studio and that is what we love! Except I'm trying to diet and now I REALLY want a Big Mac! hahaha

Here is a quick sneak peek photo for the girls, just one because they are knee deep in studying for their exams and can't come into view the photos til next week! Just figured I would give them a bit of a tease!

See ya next week girls!
