Cape Breton Wedding ::: Jenika & Tyrel

Some weddings just stand out. Not that any I’ve shot were bad — far from it — but some are just next level.

That was definitely the case with Jenika and Tyrel. Everything about their day was perfect. The outdoor ceremony on their family property was stunning. Fun fact: it used to be a carrot farm before the family bought it, which is kind of wild!

The reception at The Red Barn in Howie Centre was amazing too. If you haven’t been, you need to check it out, such a cool spot! I’ve photographed a few weddings there now, and it’s always a great experience.

But more than anything, weddings are about the people — and everyone was incredible. From the very beginning of the day, you could just feel the love and energy. I truly feel lucky to play a small part in such a big moment in people’s lives.
